A grid where things are hooked, connected, enter into relationship and change with each other. And the network, a piece at a time, begins to work ...
AAlthough many do not know, they are the humans who say to digital machines what they must do, and not vice versa. At high levels, it takes professional programmers, but knowing some basic elements of information technology serves to everyone, even to the children, not to live with a mistaken view of the technology.
Computer Science
We introduce this topic by putting on display some ebook of a series currently on standby, born from university courses of Giovanni Lariccia, we are working with, while also exploring the use of the video medium a in metacognitive sense. But there is also a vintage book!
Giovanni Lariccia in the 80s brought LOGO language to Italy! But also the children of today enjoy playing and programming computers with the turtle!
Ivano Anemone, after subscribing facebook group "Bambini Oggi Tecnologie", he shared with some tutorial of his about free software. This is on CMaps .
For those who think that the "digital question" means only a continuous flight forward, having always others (the market?) who dictate the program to be followed, this is the video of a Paolo's work in 1992!
The software, learning to do!
Each software is by definition a set of possibilities which, in the hands of a human user, may produce different results. There are no "automatic" software, meaning that even in cases where the program seems to "work alone", decisions are still taken by a human being, if not the end user, the programmer who decided how the software must behave.
To learn to handle not just the instructions of individual programs (which, as conventions, may change) but the functions that the instructions are (that is, the actions that the software performs), starting from their own needs, it is an important time of computer literacy of every citizen of the information society.
"Tutorials", if well made, can help users to understand with practical examples how to best use the software
