A cinema workshop that lasts a few months, another in which we make a "film" in two days. Then a documentary shot in just over one hour by every group of kids, some of whom had never used a video camera before.
Audiovisual language is a common heritage for all generations, children, young people and adults, grown up with television. Our vast "latent" culture can be awakened in a few minutes, especially in children who, if just stimulated in the right direction, are able to "play seriously" with the means, without trying only to imitate the models of commercial TV and cinema, but easily finding words, gestures and forms of communication, if not always original, however agreeing to their way of being children.
Today's technological tools for making audiovisuals can be used on a basic level with virtually no preliminary training.

We starts with the camera on a tripod, which immediately allows perfect shooting. Then use can also use photo cameras, tablets, mobile phones.
If we use an external directional microphone, even the sound in critical conditions is perfect. Then, for a well done editing, we can also ask someone more expert help, because making an audiovisual is always a group work and it is not necessary for everyone to know how to do everything. However, we can immediately produce quality products with right frames and cuts, titles and, as we will see, also special effects. Above all, thanks to the global network, today we can, as it had never been possible before, collaborate even at a great distance: children, teachers, professionals of video and cinema all together, from all over the world.
Special effects, today, are for everybody, cheap and often much more easy than one expects.
We do not need to learn to do everything by ourselves, as we can count on the others, working in a sharing and collaborative way!
